String TheoryAthens' Finest* Contradance String Band
String Theory performs for the 29th
Annual Athens Human Rights Festival. * in our opinion. String Theory is a loose confederacy of Athens acoustic musicians whose membership is subject to change at any moment depending on the gig and availability of players. The current (stable) lineup includes Tommy Jordan (guitar, banjo, vocals), Dick Daniels (mandolin, guitar, bass, vocals), Ned Gardiner (banjo), Dale Wechsler (fiddle) and Ben Jordan (acoustic and electric bass). String Theory is available for dances, concerts, weddings and private parties.

For the 27th Athens Human Rights Festival, however, String Theory was a quartet featuring Tommy Jordan on guitar, vocals and mandolin, back for his 27th consecutive year at the festival, Dick Daniels on bass and guitar and Ned Gardiner on clawhammer banjo. Special guest appearance, for his first time on this stage, was made by Ben Jordan (upright bass).
